Car show to help put food on Timmins tables

Timmins Tuners will give vehicle buffs plenty of reasons to smile when it returns to the city in September.

The annual fundraiser will be giving owners of all makes and models a chance to show off their baby. The charity of choice for the occasion will be the South Porcupine Food Bank meaning that those who take part will be helping to make sure all their local neighbours have nutritious food on their table. Last year, the function raised over $1,665 for a local not-for-profit, and the organizers are counting on plenty of community support again this year.

Several dozen cars participated in the 2019 Timmins Tuners car show, and this year, there will be Swap and Sell area as well. Here, attendees will find tables where they can do some browsing and buying, and they can socialize and enjoy spending time with friends, family and those who share similar interests.

The sponsor for the fundraiser is Narduzzi’s Family Plaza restaurant. Dash plaques can be a good way to thank everyone who enters a vehicle in this sort of a show, and Print shops can supply these and other Promotional Products.

This year’s Timmins Tuners will be showcasing new and classic cars on September 5th. The public is welcome to stop by and admire the automotive artistry at 4800 Highway 101 East.
