The 13th annual Nova Awards gala, a presentation of the Timmins Chamber of Commerce, is being held in Timmins this April.
This year's gala has a ‘Cirque’ or circus theme. One of the biggest local networking events of the business year, it usually includes a cocktail reception, dinner, and live musical entertainment. There will be lots of opportunities for those in attendance to talk business and exchange cards with their business peers.
Business leaders in the community submitted a total of 140 nominations for the awards, which are handed out in 14 categories; these have now been narrowed down to three finalists in each category.
Service Excellence, Non-Profit Organization, New Business, Best Place to Work, and Lifetime Business Achievement are examples of some of the categories.
It is likely that Timmins printing companies will find there is an increase in orders for Business Cards leading up to this event. Everyone attending will want to ensure they have enough cards, that they are in good shape, and that the information printed on them is current.
The Nova Awards gala is taking place at McIntyre Arena on April 16th. Tickets are $85 for Timmins Chamber of Commerce members and $100 for non-members.
