From studio to stage, the classic sounds of ‘Abbey Road’ are coming to the Rebecca Cohn Auditorium downtown Halifax for three shows in January.
Symphony Nova Scotia will be joined by special guest group Jeans ‘n Classics to present a unique orchestral performance of the Beatles’ 11th studio album, ranked as one the greatest of all time. In The Music of the Beatles: Abbey Road, the memorable songs of Lennon and McCartney are faithfully interpreted and arranged into symphonic sounds that are said to appeal to all ages.
Jeans ‘n Classics is a renowned classic rock/symphonic performing group from London, Ontario. Its unique approach to combining rock and pop arrangements into fresh orchestral renditions with its own signature flair have garnered the group loyal audiences in venues throughout North America.
Featuring Greg Burton conducting, David Blamires, Rique Franks, Stephanie Martin and Kathryn Rose on vocals, the night promises to be unforgettable. Poster printing can help to promote events like this throughout a community like Halifax.
Tickets for ‘The Music of the Beatles: Abbey Road’ can be purchased online through the Symphony Nova Scotia website or from the Dalhousie Arts Centre Box Office in person or by phone.
