A travel company that offers discounted airline seats has started up operations in Halifax in what is hoped to be a benefit to the area’s tourism industry.
NewLeaf Travel will now be offering flights into and out of 11 cities across Canada, including Halifax. This has come about after the airline was able to resolve its dispute with the Canadian Transportation Agency earlier this spring.
According to the Halifax International Airport’s Chief Commercial Officer, the new service will be good for the area as it will make it easier and more economical for people to reach the city by air. He went on to say that he expects this will provide a boost to the province’s tourism and overall economy. A printer can produce Brochures and other promotional materials that can help a new company like this market itself to potential customers in the areas it serves.
NewLeaf’s CCO Dean Dacko pointed out that he has received a lot of positive feedback from people in the city who plan on using the service. He explained that they appreciate being able to fly to visit friends and family in other parts of the country for a more economical price than what was previously available.
Further details about the airline and its schedule of flights that take off from the Halifax airport can be found on its website.
