With the holiday season rapidly closing in, many people are now deciding on what gifts to buy. Two upcoming crafts festivals in Halifax should certainly get the ball rolling for many of the area’s residents.
The Nova Scotia Designer Crafts Council Christmas Show is taking place over three days. One of the activities planned is an exhibitor fashion show which will feature textiles and handmade jewelry. This is a juried event and items for sale will include fibre arts, wood carvings, glass, and metal ornaments.
Later in the month, the 29th annual Dalplex Christmas Craft Market will also be running for three days. Vendors will be selling a variety of items including toys, gifts, and pottery. A Fun Zone is set to keep the children entertained and food concessions will be available. Guests are encouraged to bring non-perishable food items to help with the Nova Scotia Stuff a Bus campaign.
Events in Halifax tend to be advertised widely in the community. Organizers often contact Halifax printing companies to source marketing materials such as Flyers and Banners.
