Apples have been grown in Nova Scotia since its early days, and a Halifax festival will celebrate one of the products that can be made from this locally grown fruit.
The 2021 East Coast Cider Festival is being billed as the region's premier cider tasting event, and it will feature cider makers from all over the Maritime provinces. At least 10 of these establishments have signed on to be a part of the fun, and a selection of eateries will be participating as well.
Tickets for this celebration are available now. It will boast two sessions, and the guests will go home with a tasting glass decorated with a unique graphic design. Everyone will be able to enjoy up to 12 samples, and non-alcoholic beverages will be on offer for the designated drivers. The coat check fees will be donated to Feed Nova Scotia, and Casino Taxi will supply rides home to anyone who needs one.
Tickets for the function are on sale now, and they are priced at $35.77. IDs will be checked at the door, and the function is restricted to those who are at least 19 years of age.
The 2021 East Coast Cider Festival will be showcasing the Maritimes’ thriving cider-making industry on June 5th at the Halifax Forum. It will kick off at 1:00 pm.
