Halifax area planning evening of summer fun

Sackville, which is a Halifax area community affectionately known to locals as “Sackvegas”, provides lots of opportunities for summer outdoor fun, and one of its parks will be hosting an outdoor movie screening for families.

The free Summer Movies in the Park program will see a screening of the flick “Trolls Band Together ”, which will take place in Acadia Park. All ages are welcome, and there is lots of parking at the venue.

The members of the public that attend the event will be able to spread out a blanket or set up a folding chair, and the canteen will be open for business, with the proceeds being donated to Acadia Park. Many local eateries will also be open with take out options, and the run time for the movie is one and half hours. The venue offers lots of outdoor space as well as an accessible playground, and its gardens will also be in bloom.

Outdoor events are often popular in the Halifax communities during the summer months. A poster printing company will be happy to prepare an assortment of materials that help to spread the word about a special occasion planned for the local area.

Acadia Park, which is located at 650 Sackville Drive in Lower Sackville, will host this family outing on July 5th. It will begin at 7:00 pm and wrap at 8:30 pm.
