Parramatta area welcomes comedic cuisine night

An upcoming event in Sydney is inviting diners to enjoy laughs inspired by a British show with a three-course meal.

Fans of vintage comedy and eating out in Parramatta will not want to miss an upcoming opportunity in a local Sydney suburb. The Epping Club’s acclaimed Rawson’s Restaurant will be hosting a sit-down dinner accompanied with a largely unscripted and interactive experience featuring characters from the UK comedy Fawlty Towers.

Local restaurants often look to professional printing services to produce plush and branded menus to display the dishes, drinks and desserts on offer.

Fawlty Towers was written by Sir John Cleese and Connie Booth and was first aired in September 1975. Dubbed “The Fawlty Towers Dining Experience”, the upcoming show is two hours long and allows diners to enjoy hilarious performances from actors taking on the roles of Basil and Sybil Fawlty and the hapless waiter from Barcelona, Manuel.

The performance is the longest-running homage to Fawlty Towers in existence and invites diners to take on the role of guests at the show’s fictional hotel on the English Riviera in Torquay.

The Fawlty Towers Dining Experience will take place at Rawson’s Restaurant at The Epping Club, located at 45 to 47 Rawson Street, Epping, on Friday, July 1. The show will begin at 7 pm. Tickets are priced at $99 for non-members and $89 for members.
